Corn mazes are definitely a fall favorite. But I wanna let you in on a little secret… sunflower mazes!
This 50-acre sunflower maze lies in the heart of northwestern Wisconsin and runs for only 3 weeks during the sunflower bloom in August!
The maze is located at The Perlick Distillery in Sarona, WI and is open daily from 11am-7pm during the bloom (be sure to check out their website for the most current hours).
The distillery is known for its American Yeoman Vodka and will be releasing an American Single Malt Whiskey in the summer of 2023. These are produced onsite using grains grown on the property and are only sold in Wisconsin. Free distillery tours are available by appointment.
The maze runs for 3 weeks, but you can enjoy the tasting room year-round on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Enjoy the Farmer’s Market at the distillery from June until September. The market is managed by Chickadee Hill’s Homestead in Spooner, and Green Willow Homestead in Shell Lake. Be sure to stop by the tasting room to grab a cocktail to enjoy while you shop!
The Tasting Room is a unique open air venue with a grand assortment of seasonal cocktails! The kid’s and I tried The Thin Mint (virgin for the kiddos of course) and Notley tried the Root Beer. The Thin Mint is Yeoman Vodka, Chocolate Mint Coffee, and Mint Cream. Both drinks were absolutely amazing!
Although the tasting room only offers cocktails, if you’re looking to have a bite to eat during your visit you have two options to choose from. You can bring your own food. Or! You can use the QR code at your table to order from a local restaurant in town. The distillery has partnered with The Roost Of Sarona who will deliver food right to your table at The Tasting Room!
The Sunflower Maze drew our attention and brought us to The Perlick Distillery. But between the farmer’s market, the distillery, and The Tasting Room, The Perlick Distillery has so much to offer no matter what time of year you visit!
